Billie D. Waddell, Jr., age 46, passed away at 3:45AM, December 27, 2011 surrounded by family and friends at the home of his sister, Teena M. Waddell, of Marion.
Billie was born December 20, 1965 to Billie D. and Shirley Kay (Blair) Waddell, Sr., in Marion.
Billie is survived by his parents, his sister, Teena, and his wife, Lena (McCoy) Waddell, along with two daughters, Miranda and Ashley Kay, one son, Billie D. III, and one step-son, Joshua, two granddaughters, Isabella and Nevaeh, and two grandsons, Noah and Antonio, all of Marion.
Billie passed away after a brave and hard battle of 9 months with cancer.
Billie was a proud and honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army who will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Dale Baker. Visitation will precede the service at 6PM.
