Gladys Mae Lagos age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Partners of Marion Care & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 28, 1920 in Marion, Ohio to the late John Delbert Thrush and Della Muriel (Porter) Thrush.
On May 16, 1939 she married Christ Lagos, he preceded her in death in 1969.
Gladys was employed for short time at Lerner's Clothing Store and for three years as a clerk for Frank Brothers.
She is survived by two sons, John Christ (Janet) Lagos of Marion, OH., James (Vickie) Lagos of Deltona, FL., grandchildren, Cheryl Parrot, Scott (Robin Obrien) Everly, Kris (Rodney) Hall, Shannon (Jerry) Hatcher, Trevor (Bonnie) Lagos, Angel Lagos, Tracey (Jessica) Lagos, Gregory (Robin) Lagos, Anthony Legos, step grandchildren, Krista (Tom Saygrover) Rinehart, Karen (Jimmy) Creagh, Kimberly (Dan) Hall, Karla (Mike) Biederman and numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her daughter, Diana Kay Everly, her brother, Leroy Thrush, her sister, Inez Guliuzza, and two grandchildren, Craig Everly and Tracy Clabaeux.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 @ 12:30 PM at Marion Cemetery with Rev. Nancy Goulet officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 10 – 12 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
