Mary E. Dorsey-Gills age 71 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born August 29, 1940 in Wilksville, Ohio to the late Carl L. and Esther M. (Foley) Thomas.
Mary was married to Michael E. Gills, he preceded her in deatn on December 3, 2007.
She was employed in the meat department at Meijer for 18 years, known as the Bingo Queen, when she was not working she could be found at Marion Catholic playing BINGO.
Mary is survived by six children, David C. Maag of Marion, Betty Sue Thomas of Marion, Randy Maag of Marion, Jackie L. Montgomery of Marion, Mary Ann Davis of Marion, Danny L. (Heather) Moore of Marion, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one sister, Juanita M. Riggle of Jacksonville, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Carl E. Thomas and two grandchildren, Little Randy and Charlie.
Funeral Services for Mary will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 @ 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Hord officiating. Burial will follow at Waldo Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 20, 2012 form 12 – 2 PM.
