Myrna L. Rose age 81 of Kenton, Ohio, passed away Sunday January 8, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
She was born January 2, 1931 in Johnstown, Pa. to the late Harrison and Alice (Buton) Hesketh.
Myrna was married to Delbert G. Rose and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1999.
Myrna was a member of the Salvation Army and at one time worked in housekeeping at the former Med Central Hospital in Marion. She also was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and always put her family first.
Myrna is survived by a daughter and two sons; Doris J. (Marty) Rose DeLong of Kenton, Ohio, Melvin G. (Missy) Rose of Kenton, Ohio and Ronald J. (Kim) Rose of Tenn. Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild also survive. Myrna was one of seventeen children.
Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two sons; Alfred G. and Vernon L. Rose.
There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday January 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Agosta Cemetery in New Bloomington, Ohio. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday January 11, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M.
