Robert (Bob) E. Parr was born April 3, 1927 to Benjamin and Minerva Parr.
On June 26, 1948 he married Marilyn R. Behr. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2002.
He is survived by daughters Pam (Steve) Cooke of Grovetown, GA and Linda (Tom) Imhoff of Tennessee. Four grandchildren: April (Doug) Short, John (Ingia) Saxton, Jody Teal and Lesley Mayse. In addition to nine great-grandchildren Robert is survived by sisters Juanita Bourland, Annabelle Smith, Betty Nogle and Charlotte Brendahl and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons James Parr and John Parr and one great granddaughter Hunter Rose Saxton.
Bob was a WWII Vet serving in the Navy. He loved to do woodworking and he made many items for his family.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Minister Matt Dahm officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
