Robert Lester Fox, Sr., age 67, of Marion, OH, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 23, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MN to the late Lester Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Arthur) Fox.
He was married to Diane Millisor, who preceded him in death, February 4, 2011.
Robert was retired as a forklift driver from Drypers. He also worked at the former Marion Power Shovel Company as a welder, and the former Glenwood Range Company where he assembled washers and dryers.
Robert enjoyed racing motorcycles, skydiving, camping, hunting, and fishing. He left this earth on a Harley with an angel leading the way to his paradise.
He is survived by: a daughter, Kristy Fox (Lonnie) Foster of Marion; a son, Robert L. Fox, Jr. of Richwood, OH; a stepson, James (Susie) Freeman of Sandusky, OH; grandchildren, Steven F. Foster of Marion, Heather F. Foster of Marion, Elizabeth (Ben) Estep of South Carolina, Jaycob Fox of Richwood, Paul Michael Mount of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Jarryn Paul Foster Mustard of Marion, and Cole Jarrod Francis Foster of Marion. Also surviving is a sister, Linda Fox Houseworth as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Fox.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:30AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dwight Hord. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 9-10:30AM at the funeral home.
