Ashley Danyelle Vance, age 24, of Marion, OH died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from complications of an automobile accident.
On May 1, 1987 Ashley was born to Mike and Kimberly (Prouty) Vance.
Ashley graduated from Marion Catholic High School in 2005 where she was involved in show choir, softball and cheerleading. After high school, she attended Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH., where she was also an active cheerleader and played softball.
After graduating from college, Ashley worked for Oak Stone Academy in Westerville, OH as a middle school Special Education Teacher.
Ashley is survived by her parents Mike and Kimberly Vance of Marion, sister Kristin (Sandy) Holmes of Jacksonville, FL., grandparents Robert Prouty of Marion, William (Mabel) Vance of Otway, OH, significant other Clint Williams, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one grandmother Barbara Miller.
Family will receive friends from 4 PM to 8:30PM on Monday, February 6, 2012 at The Boler Activity Center, 590 Forest Lawn Dr. with parish prayers at 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 251 North Main St., with Fr. Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
