Dorothy Elizabeth Ferris, age 78, of LaRue, died Sunday February 12, 2012 at 1:17 PM at Marion General Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1933 in Marion County, Ohio.
On September 7, 1957 she married William E. Ferris and he died July 3, 2008.
She is survived by daughter Jill L. Ferris and son Randy Ferris both of LaRue. Special Step-son; William E. (Betty) Ferris of Folsom, CA.
Her parents and two Brothers Ora and Gene Bosh are deceased.
Mrs. Ferris was a homemaker, served as a Corp Wave in the U S Navy during the Korean War. She loved flowers, and gardening, her pride and joy were her beefsteak tomatoes. Special to her were animals especially her cats. She enjoyed eating out and spending time with her family.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the LaRue Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue is helping the family with arrangements.
