Eugene Edward "Blood" Dunn age 62 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1949 in Kentucky to the late Charles Edward Dunn and Ethel Rose Davis Dunn who still survives and lives in Marion.
In February in 1970 Gene married Ruth A. Thompson Dunn and she survives.
Gene was a self-employed mechanic. He loved Nascar, fishing, motocycles and was a master at any kind of mechanics. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and he also enjoyed his dog.
Gene leaves behind three daughters and a son; Shannon Brown of Marysville, Ohio, Kimberly Ann Dunn and Tabatha Marie Dunn both of Marion, Ohio, and William E. (Elizabeth Danielle) Dunn of Marion, Ohio. Fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren survive Gene. Also surviving are four brothers; Gary Dunn of Orient, Ohio, Larry Dunn, Ricky (Linda) Dunn and George Dunn, all of Marion, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Gene will be Monday February 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be the Rev. David Brower. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday February 26, 2012 at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
