Helen Ruth Woodrum age 83 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 at her daughters house in Marion.
She was born March 18, 1928 in Marion, Ohio to the late Rev. Carlton Wilbert Finch and Sarah Ellen (Sims) Finch.
On January 26, 1947 her father, Rev. Carlton W. Finch united Helen and Carrol E. Woodrum, he preceded her in death on February 1, 1978.
Helen attended Berean Baptist Church in Marion for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, LaVerne F. (Joe) Woodrum Kosinski of Ft. Myers Beach, FL., Regina E. (Bob) Woodrum Castle of Marion, OH., a son, Mark E. (Elaine) Woodrum of Prospect, OH., six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, Carlton Burl (Reba) Finch of TN.
Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Fredick and Ralph Finch, two sisters, Elizabeth Miller amd Norma Brown, and a grandson, Matthew Palma.
Funeral services for Helen will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11 AM at the Berean Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6- 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
