Pearl Large age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born May 1, 1920 in Grayson, KY., to the late Charles and Lula (Tacket) Newland.
On September 5, 1938 she married Charlie Large he preceded her in death in 1981.
Pearl was a member of Victory Center Church of God, where she was very active in Young at Heart Senior Group. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, making quilts, her church family and her faith in God.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Malone of Fredricktown, OH., Edith (Russell) Moore of Bradenton, FL., Lynn (Ron) Jezerinac of Dublin, OH., Ruthie (Michael) Grumblatt of Marion, OH., daughter in law, Sue Large of Millersport, OH., 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Elizabeth Carr and Jeanne Nash, 2 sons, Jerry Large and Stanley Large, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 2 -5 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 5 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Don Howell officiating. Burial will take place Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2 PM in Fannin Cemetery in Wertland, KY., the Reed Funeral Home is handling the arrangements there.
