Elizabeth June Brady, age 85, of Marion, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at home.
She was born September 7, 1926 to the late Owen Alvin and Sadie Sarah (Williamson) Steinman in Marion, OH.
In December 28, 1945 Elizabeth married Donald Eugene Brady, who preceded her in death on October 24, 1982.
Elizabeth was a mother, grandmother, homemaker, a proud volunteer for the Marion Area Red Cross and Marion General Hospital, and a former member of Maranatha Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her two children Michael (Kathy) Brady of Delaware and Claudia (Tomas) Fetter , with whom she made her home, of Marion; grandchildren Michelle (Brad) Higgins, Brady (Robin) Rhoads, Jessica (Andy) Tranel, Melissa (John) Ketterer, Megan (Joe) Powell, David (Melena) Brady, Kayla (Calib) Purvis and Jonathan Brady; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, seven brothers, and five sisters.
Friends may call at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 5 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, March 8, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 135 W. Main St., Waldo, OH., with Rev. Sarah Schaaf officiating. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
