Warren E. Hensel, age 72, of Vandalia, Ohio passed away early Sunday morning at the Hospice of Dayton.
Born in Kenton on September 3, 1939 to Marcus and Mabel (Thompson) Hensel, he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Warren was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Vern Hensel and Dale Hensel. Surviving are his wife; Jacqueline (Ball) Hensel of Vandalia, 2 sons; Tim (Michelle) Hensel of Findlay and Matt (Traci) Hensel of Marion, a daughter; Cathy (Mike) Beck of Marion, 4 brothers; Don Hensel, Wilbur Hensel, Lowell Hensel and Claire Hensel, a sister; Marge Howell, 6 grandchildren and his great-granddaughter; Brittany Malott as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home by the Marion County Joint Veteran’s Council. Burial will be at a later date.
