Daisy Dawson, age 85, of Oak Harbor, OH and formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Riverview Health Care Campus in Oak Harbor.
Daisy was born, March 3, 1927 to the late Grover C. Wilkinson and Bertha “Miller” Wilkinson in Marion.
She married Neil Dawson who preceded her in death on November 3, 2004. Daisy was the Vice-President of Sales at the Fullfullment Corporation of America for over forty years.
Daisy is survived by her two nieces, Hazel (Gary) Kohbarger of Oak Harbor, OH and Karen (Al) Goldsburry of Marion. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Dawson; sons, Kenneth Dawson and Eugene Dawson; daughter, Elvia Dawson; brothers, Carl, Marvin, and Ervin Wilkinson; and sisters, Mary Wilkinson-Cranston and Ivy Crawford.
Family will receive friends Friday, June 1, 2012 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W. Center St., Marion, OH. A funeral service honoring Daisy’s life will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, 10 AM, at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Minister Matt Dahm officiating. Burial will follow in The Marion Cemetery.
