Donald L. Cranston, age 70, of Marion, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Heartland of Marion.
Donald was born April 11, 1942 to the late Dana L. Cranston and Mary M. (Wilkinson) Cranston in Marion, OH.
Prior to retiring from the Boise Cascade company, Donald worked for The Marion Flower Shop, and was a custodian at the Bible Wesleyan Church.
Donald is survived by his three daughters Pamela J Ritchey of Edison, Penny L Cranston of Edison, and Paula M. (Billy Charles) Thacker of Marion; brother Ronnie (Insook) Cranston of South Korea; and sisters Sharon K. McKenzie of Marion and Hazel A. (Gary Cagle) Kohbarger of Oak Harbor, OH; and grandchildren Katarina A Burns, Cheyanne M. Ritchey, Jayden B. Ritchey, Cody A. Honaker, Tyler F. Thacker, Austin J. Thacker, and Hunter B. Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Patrick Cranston, and brother Dale L. Cranston Sr.
Family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Heritage Bible Church, 193 Marion-Williamsport Road East, Marion, OH 43302. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Heritage Bible Church with Pastor Bruger officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
