Paul “Dave” Holbrook, age 70, of Marion, OH died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Heartland of Marion.
Paul was born September 19, 1941 to the late Forest G. Holbrook and Marcella Joyce (May) Holbrook in Louisa, KY.
Paul was a helicopter mechanic in the Army during the Vietnam War, an active member in the Army Reserves’ 175th Quarter Master in Delaware, OH, for over twenty years, and later retired from the Whirlpool Corporation with over 40 years of service.
Paul enjoyed fishing, was a former member of the VFW, and was always a generous person.
Paul is survived by his daughter Rhonda Holbrook of Marion, brother Gerald E. Holbrook of Marion and sister-in-law Jeanine Holbrook of Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother George Holbrook.
Family will receive friends 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held 10 AM, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Price Cemetery in Richwood, OH with Rev. Dan Addson officiating and Military Honors conducted by Marion County United Veterans Council.
