Cleta M. Berry, age 88 of Marion, entered into eternal peace Wednesday morning , June 20th, 2012 at Heartland of Marion. Cleta was born on January 31st, 1924 in Mt. Gilead as the daughter of Odus W. & Melvina Maria (Pinder) McClenathan. On June 8th, 1946 Cleta married Robert S. Berry Sr.. He preceded her in death November 17th, 2006.
She was a member of the Heritage Bible Church and the Marion Women of the Moose. She had been employed at ITT Power Equipment n Galion and also at Isaly’s in Marion.
Cleta is survived by her Sons, Eric and Robert Jr. (Wanda) Berry of Marion; her daughter, Judy (Richard) Drake also of Marion. Eighteen Grand Children, Robert Berry III, Craig Berry, Jamie Berry, Hayley Berry, Tonya Swick, Gina Klee, Chad Drake, Lori Rhodes, David Healea, Jackie Vaughn, Mike Healea, Christopher Owens, Ronee Jean Berry , Eric A. Berry, Jessica Noe, Erica L. Moore, twenty five great grand children and three great great grandchildren. She also precedes her two brothers, Howard McClenathan of Caledonia and Phil McClenathan of Riverside, CA. She also leaves behind her sister June Lemmel of Ashland. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Horace and Paul McClenathan and two sons Ronny & Jimmy.
Funeral Services for Cleta will be held at 10:00 on Saturday June 23rd, 2012 in Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Pastor Gary L. Brugger officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery Friends may call at the Funeral Home in Caledonia on Friday where the family will receive them from 6 – 9.
