Thomas L. Perkette, age 47, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the OSU Medical Center of an extended illness.
Thomas was born on September 26, 1964 in Columbus, OH, to Nancy J. (Ruth) Perkette of Marion, OH and William J. Perkette of Indian River, MI. Thomas graduated in 1982 from St. Francis High School, in Traverse City, Michigan.
After school, Thomas worked as a master electrician and will always be remembered for his ability to fix anything. He had a love of the outdoors and those who loved him will remember his big heart for others.
He is survived by his daughter, Jordan, of Traverse City, MI; His parents: Nancy Perkette and William Perkette; his brothers: Michael (Heather), Andrew (Jennie) and Joseph Perkette; his sisters: Karen (Paul) Bradley, Lisa Perkette and Kathryn Perkette; 3 nephews and 7 nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Traverse City, MI, at a later date for the public.
