Eligh Green age 74 of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Manor Care of Westerville, Ohio.
He was born April 16, 1938 in Palm Beach, FL., to the late Everett and Martha (Spikes) Green Sr.
In September of 1957 he married Beverly (Goodwin).
Eligh was a master machinist for eighteen years at Tecumseh Products and Stimson. He was a member of Mount zion Baptist Church and a former member of NAACP.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Green of Columbus, OH., two daughters, Donna Green of Columbus, OH., Beverly Green-Sanford of Columbus, OH., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Eligh was preceded in death by seven brothers, Freddie Green, Franklin Green, Ivory Green, Sylvester Green, Milladge Green, Shady Green, Everett Green Jr. and two sisters, Ollie Shaw and Ester Green.
Funeral services for Eligh will be Friday, July 20, 2012 @ 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Daimon Rawilson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, July 20, 2012 from 11 – 12 noon at the church. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
