Glenn H. Winegarner age 71 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away Saturday June 30, 2012 at Marion General Hospital. He was born April 1, 1941 in Franklin Co., Ohio to the late Grover C. and Catherine A. (Wilson) Winegarner. On February 14, 2003 Glenn married Luella J. (Hawk) Stevens, and she survives.
Glenn was a retired Truck Driver, last working for Refiner's Oil in Columbus, Ohio for several years. He was also a U.S. Marine Veteran during Vietnam. Besides his wife, Glenn is survived by three daughters and three sons; Evelyn (Kevin) Flynn of Westerville, Ohio, Glenna Winegarner of Prospect, Ohio, Sue Ann Switzer of Columbus, Ohio, Bob (Jane) Kelly and Donald Kelly both of Hilliard, Ohio, and Glenn Kelly of California. Also, one step-daughter and one step-son survive; Myrta (Charles) Simpkins of Marion, Ohio, and John Stevens of Delaware, Ohio. Two grandchildren and one great-granchild also survive; Catrina Bestwick of Columbus, Ohio, Kory Snodgrass of Prospect, Ohio, and Hayden Snodgrass of Prospect, Ohio. Glenn was also preceded in death by a brother, John Kelly.
There will be a Graveside Service for Glenn on Friday July 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Caledonia Cemetery in Caledonia, Ohio.
