Roy Denver Casto, age 68 of Marion passed away in the O.S.U. Hospital, Columbus on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 3:35 p.m. He was born in Marion, Vermont on July 20, 1944 to Denver and Kathleen (Cutlip) Casto. Roy married Diana K. Bailey on September 10, 1966 in Marion and she survives.
He retired in 2011 as a stone mason from the General Restoration Corp. where he had been employed for 48 years. Surviving along with his wife are 4 sons; Denver, Tim, Brian, & Jason Casto all of Marion, 1 daughter; Missy (Tracy) Shepherd of Marysville, Oh., 1 sister; Betty Blevins of Marion, Oh., 1 brother, Jim Casto, 2 half brothers; Jerry (Libby) Griffin & Charles Eugene Casto all of Marion, 2 half sisters; Sue (Phil) Thomas of Winter Haven, Fl. & Mona (Gary) Grant of Marion, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Roy was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers; Charles Casto, William Casto, Darrell Casto, & Archie Griffin.
The Casto Family will be receiving friends in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. No funeral service will be held at this time. Burial will be at a later date.
