C. Richard (Rich) Tucker age 70 passed away on August 20, 2012 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness.
He was born January 11, 1942. Rich was born in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Clyde Rupert and Susanne Alwilda (Yeager) Tucker.
On September 26, 1962 he married JoAnn C.( Lehner) Tucker, she preceded him in death in September 2011. He is survived by his four children. Susanne Smith, Kathy Fitzgerald (Brad Cooper), Jennifer (Robert) Palk, Christopher (Vicki) Tucker and 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Richard served our armed forces in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 and honorably discharged in 1965. After being stationed in Michigan, Dayton and Spain he lived the rest of his years in Marion, Ohio. Known to his friends as Dick Tucker he worked at Whirlpool for over 40 years before retiring in 2009.
The family will receive friends Sat. August 25, 2012 from 2-4 at Peace Community UCC on Rte 98, Waldo, Oh.
