Delores J. Pierce age 74 of Marion, Ohio went home to be with her lord on August 16, 2012.
She was born April 20, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Charles and Virginia (Bloomfield) Carver Belford.
On June 6, 1964 she married Harold Pierce Sr., he preceded her in death on April 27, 1995.
Delores was employed at Marion General Hospital for ten years retiring in 1995 and was a lifetime member of Marion Christian Center.
She is survived by her six children, Harold Pierce Jr. of Marion, OH., Sabrina Pierce of Marion, Oh., Kimberly (Ron) Rose of Tennessee, Barbara Pierce of Marion, OH., David (Theresa) Pierce of Waverly, OH., Pamela Feasel of Magnetic Springs, OH., eight grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her brother, Ellis Carver of Dayton, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twelve brothers and sisters.
Graveside services for Delores will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 @ 3:30 PM with Pastor Perry Payne officiating at Agosta Cemetery in New Bloomington, Ohio. Visitation for family and friends will be Wedneday, August 22, 2012 from 2 – 3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
