James Raymond Russell, age 60, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 15h at his residence.
He was born in Mifflin Township, Franklin County on October 29, 1951 as the son of the late Charles W. and Pearl Emma (Monroe) Russell.
James was married to the former Beverly J Agnes, and she preceded him in death.
He was a motel housekeeper. James loved camping and fishing.
He is survived by one brother; Everet L. (Iona) Russell, two sisters: Ida Mae (Richard) Kimes of Fulton and Nancy (Larry) Taylor of Cardington, seven grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, seven nieces; Sheri Akers, Kim Caldwell, Ann Kimes, Betsy Storer, Diane Estep, Mary Mattix, and Karen Plot, three nephews; Keith Akers, Richie Kimes and Charles Russell.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 18th, in the Timson-Allen-Melroy Funeral Home with Minister Jon Lanier officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 until 10:30.
