Thomas Kevin Chapman, age 59, of Marion, died August 22, 2012 peacefully in his sleep at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 22, 1953 in Marion to Ward Thomas and Mary Patricia (Paulus) Chapman.
He attended St. Mary’s School and Marion Harding.
On July 1, 1978, he married Robin (Robertson) at the Mt. Vernon Avenue Church of Christ; where he was a member.
He was employed by Pollack Steel, Marion Power Shovel, and retired from the City of Marion. He loved fishing, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years and his children: Tara Renee’ Chapman, Thomas Ward Chapman, and Amber Nicole (Daniel) Winegarner, his siblings: Karen Chapman, John Chapman, Michael Chapman, and Patrick Chapman, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Allen Chapman.

The Chapman family will greet friends on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W Center St., Marion, OH. Services celebrating his life will be held there on Saturday, August 25, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Price Cemetery.
