Harry William Linkmire age 83 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Doctor West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Harry was born October 31, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Harry and Ellanora Linkmire.
In 1976 he married Melba Jean Whitehead, she preceded him in death.
Harry was born and raised in Cincinnati, was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He employed for many years at Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati, and retired from Mosler Safes.
He is survived by step children, Ted (Jan) Elsey of Marion, Oh., Pat (John) Caudill of Marion, Oh., nephews, Gary (Nancy) Weber of San Diego, Ca., David (Laura) Weber of Dayton, Oh., step grandchildren, Alicia (Jeff) Colburn, Brian (Tammie) Elsey, Paul (Nicole) Elsey, Jennifer (John) Westbrook, Matthew (Jamie) Elsey, step geat grandchildren, Emma Elsey, Corrine Elsey, Jordan Westbrook, Jayden Westbrook, Aiden Elsey.
Harry was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy (Elmer) Weber, Virginia (Ray) Brahm and step son, Tim Elsey.
Graveside services with military rites will be held at a later date. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
