Merle E. Wilson age 83 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Stewart, Florida passed away Friday, August 31, 2012 at Partners of Marion.
He was born May 15, 1929 in Pickerton, Ohio to the late Sherman F. and Donna M. (Griffen) Wilson.
On September 8, 1949 he married B. Louise (Hummel).
Merle was self employed in constuction for many years and was a member of Euclid Avenue Mission.
He is survived by his wife, B. Louise Wilson of Marion, Oh., three duaghters, Donna Wilson of Marion, Oh., Goldie (Randy) Shaw of Marion, Oh., Cindy (Mike) Price of Stewart, Fl., 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, his sister, Betty Ann Gallager of Stewart, Fl., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Merle was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Perez, a son Merle E. Wilson Jr., and four brothers, Lawrence, Berl, Jack and Glenn Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, the Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
