James N. “Jim” Brown, age 69, of Marion, died Friday, October 5, 2012 at Partners of Marion.
James was born January 31, 1943 to the late Kenneth N. and Margaret D. (Teets) Brown in Marion.
James married Marianne Fausnaugh on June 4, 1983.
He was an Army Veteran, retiree of Whirlpool, and an active member in the Whestone Wood Carvers Association.
James is survived by his was wife Marianne; daughters, Jamie (John) Peacock, Bobbi (Butch) Craft, Julie (George) Cooper, Jennifer (Aaron) Barr and Jill Columber; two brothers, four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Suzane McPeek, and one infant sister.
Friends may call Monday, October 8, 2012 from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Father Dwayne McNew officiating. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery.
