Lora Agnes Sharrock age 90, of Marion, Ohio went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2012.
She was born on October 10, 1922 in Warren County, Indiana as the daughter to the late Henry and Lurie (Rhynehardt) Watkins.
On March 31, 1945, Agnes married Lawrence Eldin Sharrock at High Point Park in Tampa, Florida. Larence preceded her in death on October 29, 1981.
Agnes worked as a long distance supervisor for General Telephone and Electronics. After 18 years of service with GTE, Agnes retired.
Including her husband and parents, Agnes was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce E. Sharrock and Jerry L. Sharrock, a grandson, Scott F. Sharrock and a sister, Inez Stewart.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Janice (James) McKee of Prospect, OH., Roger (Kandy) Sharrock of Marion, OH., and Cheryl (Skip) Hoffman of Nevada, OH., two brothers, Dan Ellison of Florida, Ernie Ellison of Texas, a sister, Grethern Austin of North Carolina. She will also be missed by seven grandchildren and tweleve great grandchildren, and a very special friend, Lucille Traxler.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Dipietro officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 1 – 3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
