Marjorie J. Vankaenel age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born May 23, 1933 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late William M. and Ida L. (Ellsworth) Butts.
On December 8, 1956 she married Gerald P. Vankaenel.
Marjorie was part owner and secretary for Marion Truck Lines and was a member of Richland road Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Vonkaenel of Marion, her son, John (Shelia) Chambers of North Olmstead, Oh., four grandchildren, Jerry Martin, Tracey Roberts, Wendy White, Ashley Chambers, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Kennedy, she passed away June 10, 2010, one brother and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 @ 2:30 PM at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens with Rev. Grover Caudill officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 1 – 2 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
