Maxine E. Roberts age 79 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday October 21, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1933 in Marion to the late Donald H. and Alpha N. (Greenawalt) Huber.
On September 2, 1990 she married B. Edward Roberts and he survives.
Maxine was retired as a clerk with the Marion County Auditors Office. She was also a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Maxine dearly loved her family and especially enjoyed being involved in all the activities her grandchildren were involved in , from school to sports events.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and two sons; Steven M. (Geri) Lust of Prospect, Ohio, Lynne L. Miley of Marion, Ohio, Tracy A. (Melody) Lust of Prospect, Ohio, Annette A. (Harry) Holler of Marion, Ohio, and a step-daughter and two step-sons; Kimberly Emery, and Stephen and Michael Roberts. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; Rachel Lust, Lindsey (Clint) Field, Lori Miley, Courtney Lust, Clay Lust, Kendall Lust, Wes Holler, Katey Holler, Alissa Holler, and Miley Lynne Field. An Aunt, Martha Jones and a sister-in-law, Marlene Huber both of Marion, and three nieces survive.
Besides her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie K. Lust, and two brothers, Gerald and Gary Huber.
Funeral Services for Maxine will be on Thursday October 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Officiating the service will be A.I.M. Kevin Kehn. A Crypt Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday October 24, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M.
