Betty J. Rigby age 85 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born March 27, 1927 in Marion, Ohio.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. (Roscoe) Mault, daughter in law, Joan DeWitt, brother, Jim (Ruby) Loop, sister, Jackie (Ron) Bowers, brother, George Skatzes, grandchildren, Debbie (Mark) Reebel, Diana (Gary) Carn, Sheri (Mike) Cook, Kimberly (Mathias) Hoadley, Jane Zeisler, Tracie (Mike) Calderone, great grandchildren, Jimmy (Bryna) Davis, Bobby Davis, Tristan Hoadley, Sydney Cook, Abigayle Zeisler, Leigha Zeisler, Logan Zeisler, Lucas Zeisler, Isabella Calderone, Gianna Calderone.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Adelaide Skatzes, her husband, Robert V. Rigby, her brother, Bill Loop, her sister, Geraldine Kellogg, her son, Donald DeWitt and her great grandson, Anthony Calderone.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 from 10 – 11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 AM at Marion Cemetery with Rafael Velazco officiating.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A former resident of the Marion Rotary Towers, she was very active and enjoyed volunteering her time to help others. She was very loved and will be sadly missed by friends and family.
