Christine Watts age 68 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born February 13, 1944 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Herbert H. and Sara M. (Holbrook) Smith.
On May 25, 1966 she married Luther Watts, he preceded her in death in 1995.
Christine was a longtime resident of Marion, where she previously attended Gebhardt Enterprise Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Douglas) Murrell of Nevada, Oh., Mick (Sharon) Smith of Marion, Oh., Jerry Smith of Marion, Oh., Luther (Leann) Watts Jr. of Kentucky, Connie (Keith) Murrell of Marion, Oh., 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, her brother, Leroy (Linda) Smith of Caledonia, Oh., four sisters, Kathleen (J.C) Gibson of Morral, Oh., Linda (Tim) Bennett of Morral, Oh., Evelyn (Gill) Dorfe of Marion, Oh., Debbie Smith of Marion, Oh., step sister, Patty Murrell of Marion, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Tina Marie Watts, two brothers, Arthur and Robert Smith, one sister, Rosie Adams.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 @ 11 AM at Gebhardt Enterprise Baptist Church, 894 Gebhardt St., with Pastor Ed Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 10 – 11 AM at Gebhardt Enterprise Baptist Church. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
