Lyn J. “Lynette” Estes age 63 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her residence.
She was born September 14, 1949 in Marion, Ohio to the late John J. Kabana and Sonia E. (Wolenski).
On May 9, 1975 she married Ken R. Estes.
Lyn was a member of Forest Lawn Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the Tuesday Night Womens Bowling League at Southland Lanes. She was employed at GTE / Verizon / Frontier for 42 years as a engineering clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Ken R. Estes of Marion, OH., her daughter, Kristi L. Estes of Caledonia, OH., three sisters, Kathy (Doug) Bush of Ashville, OH., Beverly (Jack) Marshall of Marion, OH., Norma (Rick) Maxey of Marysville, OH., and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Lyn will be Friday, November 30, 2012 from 11 – 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 30, 2012 @ 1PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Sopher officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
