Marvin Dale McCleary, age 59 of Caledonia died as a result of a highway accident on Monday October 29th, 2012.
Dale was born in Marion as the son of the late Sheldon and Marilyn (Simmons) McCleary.
He was a proud graduate of Northmor High School.
He was employed for 26 years at Galion Dresser, had driven Semi for Schneider Trucking and had been a School Bus Driver at Northmor for about six years.
Dale loved to ride his motorcycle and was a proud member of Road Riders For Jesus #79. He enjoyed his many trips to South Dakota to hunt Pheasant and he was a proud member of Canaan United Methodist Church. But above all he just loved spending time with his family.
Dale’s memory will be cherished by his daughter and son-in-law Brandy & Jeff Bright of Marion, Three grandchildren; Zachory McCleary, Ethan Bright and Sierra Devlin of Marion. He will also be remembered by his two sisters; Sheryl Turner of Caledonia and Sharon McCleary of Oklahoma. Two nieces; Dawn Scott and Andrea Turner and his nephew Ian Hypes. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services for Dale will conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday November 3rd at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Pastor Matt Skelton officiating. Interment will follow at Salem M.E. Cemetery Harpster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 – 9.
