Calvin M. “Bud” Wilcox age 81 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 5, 1931 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Milo R. and Mary V. (Harris) Wilcox.
On February 1, 1957 he married Nola M. (Williams).
Calvin was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving from 1950-1954 during the Korean Conflict and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Hiram Lodge #18, F.& A.M. in Delaware, Ohio. Calvin was employed at GTE for 28 years as an engineer, he retired in 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Nola M. Wilcox of Marion, Oh., a son, Michael (Michelle) Wilcox of Mt.Vernon, Oh., three daughters, Patricia (Erik) Alexander of Marion, Oh., Christina (Robert) Friday-Domke of Wichita Falls, Tx., Carol (Ralph) Young of Marion, Oh., eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Jean Barnhart and Darlene Mowry.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 7, 2012 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Irey officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
