Douglas R. Cerny, age 40 of Delaware passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
He was born June 10, 1972 in Marion.
Douglas was a resident of Delaware and worked at Wanner MetalWorks. Doug enjoyed drawing and was a gifted artist. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Arnold and Margaret Cerny of Winston, GA and his mother, Annegrette Cerny of Lompoc, CA, his brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Celina Cerny of Mesa, AZ, James Cerny of Lompoc CA, fiancé, Carolyn Meredith of Delaware, Aunts and Unles-Ron and Eilleen Stillions Richwood, Marcia McElice, Arley Cerny, George and Shirley Cerny all of Marion; John Cerny, FL; many cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the Prospect Senior Citizens, 318 N. Elm St., Prospect, Ohio 43342.
