Linda Lou Capehart Calbert, 71, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Memorial services for Mrs. Calbert will be Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. Shelton P. Sanford, III, officiating and Reverend William A. McCutchen, III, and Dr. John A. Basie, assisting. Visitation will follow the service in the Anne Burns Sanford Parlor.
A native of Marion, OH, Mrs. Calbert was a daughter of the late Harry Alvin and Viola Kathleen Capehart. She was a 1959 graduate of Marion Harding High School, Marion, OH. Prior to her moving to Rock Hill, she was previously employed with the Fullfillment Corporation for 15 years, Marion Power & Shovel for 10 years and retired from Huntington Bank in Columbus, OH. For the last seven years, she was employed as an administrative assistant with Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she assisted Reverend McCutchen and most recently, Dr. Basie. Mrs. Calbert enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Mrs. Calbert is survived by her husband, William H. Calbert, who would have celebrated their 43rd anniversary on December 20th. She also is survived by her daughter, Kelly Griffin Harty of Rock Hill; Diana Lynn Calbert Bartley of Winter Springs, FL, and Kim Ann Calbert of Delaware, OH; six grandchildren, Josh Calbert, Nick and Ty Bartley, Hailey, Hunter and Parker Harty, two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Calbert; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Roberta Lee.
