Mary Jane Kraner age 87 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born August 20, 1925 in Essex, Ohio to the late John H. and Clara Etta (Lewis) Price.
Mary graduated from Richwood High School in 1943, on July 25, 1948 she married Lowell Kraner, he preceded her in death August 27, 2010.
Mary was formerly employed at JC Penny and Marion City Hospital, in her spare time she enjoyed canning, cooking, gardening, sewing and cleaning. Her children will miss most of all her chocolate cake and chocolate milk.
She is survived by her two children, Daryl Kraner of Marion, OH., Lana (Keith) Leggett of Middletown, VA., two nieces, Linda (Donald) Mathys and Norene (Rick) Miller, four nephews, John (Karen) Price Jr., Larry (Kellie) Price, Stanley (Melanie) Price, Steve (Vicki) Price.
Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Lowell Price.
Funeral Services for Mary will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 @ 2PM at Union Baptist Church, 16623 St. Rt. 739, Richwood, Ohio with Rev. Timothy Peria officiating, burial will follow at Price Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1 – 2 PM at the church. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
