Richard W. “Dick” Moulton, age 76 of Marion, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May 27, 1936 in Boston, MA to the late Charles W. and Mary O. (Kennington) Moulton.
Dick served in the U.S. Army in Germany in the 1950s then became a graduate of the University of Illinois.
He formerly was an art director with Swink, Falgren, and Badertscher prior to retiring.
He is survived by his wife Betty A. (Trainor) Moulton, sons, Jon Moulton, Newark, OH, Chris Moulton, Des Moines, IA, Thomas (Amy Minser) Moulton, Blacklick, OH, and daughters, Christine (John) Eilerman, Perrysburg, OH, and Stephanie L. Duval, Corning, IA, and brother, Jon D. Moulton, Cincinnati, OH, 6 grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Duval, Emma and Owen Minser, and William and Samantha Eilerman, nieces and nephews.
Dick was an avid reader and golfer. He formally played in the 35 and over basketball league, was a past member of the Jaycees, American Society of Illustrators, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Gunder Hall and Folk Funeral Directors prior to a 7 PM memorial service.
