William R. “Bill” Livingston, age 86 of Marion died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Partners of Marion. He was born April 25, 1926 in Richwood to the late John P. and Anna P. (Moore) Livingston.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Dutch Conley Construction in Marysville for 14 years. He had worked for several other contractors including Ron Chapman and Trafzer Excavating.
He is survived by two sons, Bill and Tim Livingston; three daughters, Konni Buskirk, Sheila Dickerson and Renee Morgan; two sisters, Jane Price and Beverly Ridge; step-children, Lori Yeager, Pam Franklin, Tracy Sherman, John Ryan and Mike Ryan. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Jo Smith; two brothers, Bob and John Livingston; and a step-daughter, Judy Cochran.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery where military honors will be provided by the Richwood Area Veterans. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
