Dortha L Miller, age 82, of Marion died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Marion Manor.
Dortha was born November 19, 1930 in York Center, Ohio to the late Emil A. and Ethel (Bevis) Fish.
In 1958 she married Carl E. Miller who survives.
Dortha worked as an LPN in the Kenton, OH Hospital and for Dr. Drake in Richwood, OH. Dortha was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister, and volunteered at soup kitchens and St. Vincent DePaul. She also belonged to The LPN Association and enjoyed volunteering.
Dortha is survived by her husband, Carl; daughter, Patricia Ann Blue of Bucyrus, brother, Richard Fish of Waterville, OH; and sister, Mildred Shoup of St. Charles, Mo. She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Thomas J. Blue; brothers, Carl, Richard and Gerald Fish; and sister, Isabelle Coleman.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 5 to 7PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors where Parish prayers will be held at 5PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 10 at 10AM with Father Dwayne McNew officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
