L. Kay Blevins age 71 of Lima, Ohio formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
She was born May 3, 1941 in Marion, Ohio to the late James L. and Helen M. (Ames) Hough.
On July 27, 1990 she married Tommy E. Blevins, he preceded her in death on May 14, 2005.
Kay was employed at Wyandot Inc. as a Lab Technician for 25 years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Martin Backer) Holsinger of St. George, UT, Missi Holsinger-Bryant of Lima, OH, step son, Edward (Lora) Blevins of Marion, OH, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother, James (Mary Jo) Hough of Loogootee, IN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, William Hough, Michael Hough, Charles Hough and two sisters, Barbara Seedle and Virginia Tackett.
Funeral services for Kay will be Monday, January 14, 2012 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
