Martha Ann Thomas, age 62, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 3:30 a.m. in her home.
She was born in Ironton, Ohio on August 24, 1950 to the late William W. and Bertha G. (Manley) Abrams.
Martha married Harry A. Thomas on October 12, 1968 in Marion and he survives.
The lifelong homemaker is also survived by 3 sons; Harry (Heather James) Thomas Jr., Frank William (Theresa) Thomas & Jermaine R. Thomas all of Marion, 2 daughters; Angie Frost & Bertha (John) Pendleton both of Marion, 3 brothers; Jesse (Tammy) Abrams of Marion, Lloyd (Mary) Abrams of Marion, & William “Billy’ (Nancy) Abrams Jr. of Columbus, Oh., 3 sisters; Barbara Steiner of LaRue, Donna Thompson of LaRue, & Zelma Hutchinson of Marion, 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. Martha was preceded in death by 1 son; Carl M. Thomas and 1 sister; Patsy Knighton.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Pastor Audie Murphy will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
