Morgan J. Manuel age 40 of Parma, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Green Briar Nursing Home in Parma following a brief illness.
Born November 19, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jerome C and Corliss A. (Acker) Manuel who survive in Marion.
On August 20, 2005 Morgan married Lisha M. (Crow) Manuel at St Charles Catholic Church in Parma, she also survives in Parma.
He worked for Claremont County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Morgan was a Cincinnati Bengals Fan, a Special Olympics coach, he loved coaching basketball, and belonged to the Cleveland Darters Association.
Surviving Morgan are his parents, wife Lisha, one son Storm Manuel, five sisters, Megan Manuel of Maineville, Oh, Shannon Manuel of Marion, Regan (Denny) Eveland of Cleveland, Breighan (Nathan) Rich of Gahanna, Oh., Kassie J. Manuel of Mainville, Oh., several nieces and nephews, and mother and father in law Gary A. and Letha I. Crow of Elyria, Ohio.
Family will receive friends from from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with parish prayers at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St Mary Church with Father Dwayne McNew officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.
