Richard “Rick” Shepard Jr. age 45 of Mount Victory, formerly of Richwood, died unexpectedly Saturday January 12, 2013 at his home.
He was born June 27, 1967 in Columbus to the late Richard J. and Ann M. (Blankenship) Shepard, he was also predeceased by a brother James D. Bailey.
Surviving are three sisters: Mary M. Shepard of Marion, Tammy A.(Terry) Henderson of Marion and Bridget (Ralph) Dix of Cambridge, and one brother: Michael K. Shepard of Columbus
Rick was currently working at the egg farm in Mount Victory and had been employed at Marcy Industries in Richwood for 13 yrs.
Rick loved his friends as if they were family; he also had a love for the outdoors as well for animals. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job. Rick was always there if he was needed, he was a true friend. When he was with his family and friends, he was known to be the life of the party. Rick was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He will be greatly missed and loved.
There will be no services at this time; the family will be in contact with friends at a later date to set up a memorial at the Richwood Lake.
