Ronald Lee Delaney 71, of Marion, passed away on December 29, 2012 at Community Health Care Center in Marion, Ohio. His death was unexpected.
Ron was born on January 1, 1941 in Oak Hill, OH.
He was retired from Central Soya, Marion, OH and had been a resident in Marion most of his life. Ron resided with his constant companion and best friend for 28 years, Bonnie Messenger.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Jerry (Chris) Delaney of Caledonia, OH, and Jeffrey Delaney of Elkhart, IN, and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, 6 brothers, David (Pat) Edwards of Mt. Gilead, OH, Gary (Brenda) Edwards of Jackson, OH, Wayne (Inis) Edwards of Mt. Gilead, OH, Stan (Carol) Edwards of Oak Hill, OH, Myron (Mary) Edwards of Colorado Springs, CO, Bill Edwards of Columbus, OH, and 2 sisters, Debbie (Steve) Taylor of Oak Hill, OH, and Carol (Marlin) Carter of Ney, OH.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, son Ronald Jason Delaney, and sister Karen Ann Hammond.
