Betty Stone age 70 of Marion passed away Monday February 11, 2013. Born January 14, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late George and Maybell (Cook) Jones.
On November 20, 1959 Betty married Elwood Stone and he preceded her on May 15, 1995.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Theresa (Frank) Thomas of Marion, one sister Rosie, two step-daughters Becky Williamson, Brenda Stout, 10 grandchildren, Corey Stout, Kyle Stout, Charles (Jessica) Runyon, Sarah Runyon, Chris (Karena) Luikart, Scott Luikart, Shanda Williamson, Mandy Williamson, Tina Rudd, Trevor Stan Lekarev, two great-grandchildren Damian Luikart, and Riley Runyon. Preceding Betty in death are her parents, George and Maybell Jones, her husband Elwood Stone, one daughter Flora Runyon, one step-son Jimmy Stone, two sisters Annabelle and Norma Jean.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday February 15, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday February 16, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg, Ohio.
