Donald Frederick Hartman age 64 of Anoka, Minnesota passed away Wednesday February 6, 2013 in Anoka, Minnesota.
Born in Dayton, Oh. October 26, 1948 to Harry and Olive (Henn) Hartman.
He was raised in Dayton and graduated from Brookville High School, class of 1967.
Don then went to Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 1971. He then served in the Air Force from 1971-1976. After the service Don went back to Purdue and earned his Masters Degree in 1977.
Don married Pamela Emans on December 30, 1971 in Brookville, Ohio. They made their first home in Tucson, Arizona. They lived in several locations and then came to Anoka in 1981 where they have since made their home.
Don especially enjoyed golfing, woodworking and gardening.
Don is survived by his wife, Pamela of Anoka; father and mother in law, Charles and Maxine Emans of Marion, five brothers- in- law, Chuck (Marilyn) Emans of Marion, Rick Emans of Austin, Texas, Max (Donna) Emans of Marion, Mark (Jodi) Emans of Milford Center, Ohio, Buck (Dee) Emans of Marion, three nieces, nine nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Marion Cemetery.
