Patricia Ann Shonk, age 77 passed away early Sunday morning Feb 24th, 2013 in Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 19th, 1935 as the daughter of Harry & Evelyn A. (Rinbolt) Shonk.
Pat was a graduate of Caledonia High School. In her thirty year retail career she was employed at Well’s, Kings and finally Elder-Beerman Department Stores in Marion. She loved to read and to watch “Classic” television. She also enjoyed OSU Girls Basketball and Hockey. In her later years she enjoyed word search games and playing Bingo. But nothing made her happier than a good cup of coffee and a friendly visit. Above all else she loved her family.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Sandra & Robert Jordan of Marion. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pat was preceded in death by her brother David Shonk and her sister Della Springman.
Graveside services will be conducted in Caledonia Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 28th, 2013. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Thursday from 11:30 until 1:30.
